Very nice hotel, is an historic building from 1940 in great aesthetic conditions. You need to get familiar with the sounds from the other rooms coming through the walls and roof.

Friendly, helpful staff in a great location. Having a daily cheese and wine event is a nice touch. The hotel is quite narrow, but the rooms don't feel claustrophobic. The shower was one of the best I've had in a SF hotel.

I like the property's location however, the street that it is on, has confusing signs, specifically with regards to cars allowed or not, onto the street. You can, if you're unloading, however, there's only enough space in front of the hotel to accommodate two cars at a time. Which can also be a hassle ...

Historic beautiful hotel but Cost of rooms are pricey

The look and feel of the property is chic. The judicious use of space is commendable.

Staff was excellent. Location is prime. Rooms are small, but clean and well laid out. Some rooms have no view (i.e. roof HVAC equipment). Overall, you can get a decent priced room but be ready for an additional $70 in fees, taxes, .... over booked price.

The front desk personnel was very friendly and helpful when we needed to check our luggage after checkout. This hotel is an a comfortable classicly-styled hotel in the middle of everything in San Francisco. We Ubered to the hotel so we didn’t encounter the parking fees.

I enjoyed the bar downstairs! LOL. The staff was helpful and polite.

Don't let the outside of the hotel fool you. The room is super clean and modern, friendly staff are remarkable, and the breakfast is of high quality. The view of the bay is amazing. But if you are looking to see golden gate from your window, you will be disappointed,
