Clean, spacious rooms. Very aesthetic decorations, cute lobby. Really neat old style elevator. Walking distance to a lot of sights, very close to the Chinatown Dragon gate. Parking nearby, easy in/out system. Really nice 2nd floor bar & restaurant. Staff was very friendly and helpful with recommendations for the area! We enjoyed our stay!

Amazing vibe in this hotel. We loved the style and the unique touches - would look forward to staying in a Palihotel again in other cities. The toiletries are high end and the room was comfortable. Our room was toward the back of the building and was quiet. We also didn't mind the slightly slow elevator - it's from 1910 (safely updated of course) and the history of that was very cool! It's older even than the elevator in Coit Tower! The location was also convenient for transit and for picking up a rental car on one day. We were confused about some of the amenities, like whether there was coffee available in the morning or maybe a complimentary drink at the bar, and couldn't find the information online. We admittedly didn't wind up asking about it until our last day at the property, but it would have been helpful to be verbally informed of the options when we checked in.

Bring a white noise machine! We had ours cranked as loud as possible so we were able to drown out the music blasting in the building next door/street level. There’s nowhere to pull up and unload luggage out front — you have to park in the garage across the street, walk everything over, and then check in. Staff is really great, property is small and old but really unique + lots of character. Worked for us as a single night stay, probably wouldn’t be comfy for longer than that

Nice hotel and historic building, loved the style of the rooms and the vibe of the place. Warning that public parking at the recommended lot across from the hotel will charge you $46 per night. And there is no validation from the hotel, AND you cannot take your car in and out, so you will have to use public transportation or else they will charge you an additional hourly rate. It would be nice if there was some form of parking option offered by the hotel, or at least discounted rates. You will also have to carry your bags from the lot across all the way to the hotel, not a totally long commute, but inconvenient if you are looking for something more comfortable. I’ve stayed at other Pali hotels and didn’t have this experience, but I think it’s just the location that made this the case. So future guests just be aware. The bar is super nice though! And the bartender Hannah was so kind. Also the location in the city is very convenient and right next to the bus stop, so that made getting around easy.

I just stayed for three days and had such a great time not only is the entire atmosphere so beautiful and the bed so incredibly comfy but the staff there is amazing. They were all so friendly and accommodating I loved them! Bar area is also SO pretty. The location is great also! Plenty of parking garages around and great walking distance for shopping and dining.

This is a very cute hotel located in a great area. It was walking distance to Chinatown, Union Square and the Masonic. We had a great stay and the staff were very friendly.
