Location is great. Cleanliness could be improved.
My first time booking a hotel. I enjoyed and appreciated the service and staff. Will highly recommend.
Only bad thing I would really have to say is that they don't let you know there's a deposit we have to pay for every day we stay, and it's a high deposit. They should notify people as their booking about it. Wasn't able to really enjoy because the deposit we had to leave was our fun money.
Love the hotel. Always a nice stay. Very clean and accommodating during the freezing weather conditions
This property was fantastic! Right on the Riverwalk! It was very clean. We had a 7th floor suite and our room had a balcony that overlooked part of the river. The staff was very accommodating and even gave us a complementary bottle of wine at check-in when I mentioned in passing that my wife and ...
We were staying during the winter storms in Feb of 2021. Given the extreme conditions and lack of food, etc., the staff was great. Always positive. The facilities were also very nice. Good location
We stayed secondary to local weather conditions. Unfortunately, the hotel was not able to offer food and thus, the mark for amenities but did offer gym time. The staff were friendly and very helpful during a frustrating time. We appreciated the hospitality.
A great romantic setting and room. Very clean with great great view. Me n my wife decided will be coming back every yr
An older property that feels new. Classic & nostalgic feel with very modern upgrades. Right around the corner from the river walk. Close to restaurants & a coulle of grocery stores if you want to buy food.
Staff and management is excellent, everyone goes above and beyond to ensure guests are comfortable and happy. Amenities are great, especially the spa with special technology and methods to give guests a unique experience
I loved the look of the hotel it was unique and beautiful right on the Riverwalk. I did not like that there wasn't enough parking. They did have an overflow but you had to walk a little bit to get there.
Close to river walk and restaurants, close to the mall
The hotel atmosphere was great. The staff was always very helpful. I know it’s a very old hotel. The shower water would not get very hot. This was also right as the incredible freeze came in San Antonio.
Great place and very clean and in a great location
I didn’t like that I had to pay 27 dollars a night to park on the hotel parking lot..
I loves the uniqueness of the property but was disappointed that none of the bat and restaurant were open. Also, there was no coffee or any small breakfast available.
We were snowed in due to the big snow storm in Texas, Feb 2021. Restaurant reservations were canceled and thanks to the full kitchen with an entire set of kitchen supplies, we were able to cook a Valentine’s Day dinner that was just as nice.
This was my 3rd stay at A Yellow Rose and the first in 8 years. Same innkeepers and the same friendly service as if I have returned to stay with friends. I much prefer such places compared with large resorts and hotels such as where my meeting was being held (had it not been cancelled in deference ...
