All staff, from the valet to the front desk to the bar/restaurant at the riverwalk all hotel personnel were very welcoming, polite and respectful. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay very relaxing. Kudos to the entire staff at the Hilton Palace Del Rio. Also, the hotel room was very nice, especially the balcony which was very relaxing.

Everything about our 1 night stay at the Hilton Palacio del Rio hotel was amazing. All we wanted is to step away from routine and take some time out, and this place was it. The property is right on the river walk, with colorful, happening views of the river walk & the city from the Riverview/balcony room. Complimentary breakfast via expedia at one of their restaurants right on the Riverwalk made it even more perfect. The only downside is the valet parking $60/night. I did still give this property a 5star for everything else.

Lack of amenities and add ons for the price does not add up. Rooms were sub par at best. All your paying for was location. Valet was nice to come and go as you please. Lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance. Not having breakfast included with the stay is a crime. Do better!

Good location. Service not great, house keeping did not came to clean our room until the day before we left. Hallway closet motion keep turning on every time you get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom, waking up everyone in the room and there is no way to turn it off.
