Room was clean and well maintained. The location of this hotel is one of the best for the riverwalk area. Alamo state park is right out the doorstep and lots of things to do with in a few steps. The Riverwalk mall is right next door with a movie theater inside a Dave and Busters and Legoland. Just a short walk through the mall and you can be on the Riverwalk. There is also a magic show place right around the corner, restaurants and bars. Walking distance to pretty much any of the downtown hot spots. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

The hotel lobby is impeccable. So much rich history! The location is fabulous. The rooms are very dated, but fairly clean. The AC is weak, which was probably my biggest problem because Texas heat. The staff were pleasant and helpful. I dined at the Mengerita & that was great! Valets were friendly and speedy. Overall, a good experience. Did not experience any paranormal activity, unfortunately.

This was our first stay and it was amazing. We had a small issue with the AC in our room and the front desk immediately moved us to another room. The location of the hotel is premium, a lot of places were within walking distance. The valet parking staff is top notch, courteous, friendly and efficient. The architecture is unique which adds character and charm. Check in was easy and check out was smooth. Thank you!

You can not beat the location! Alamo and River---perfect! The room was OK but the bed bottom sheet was not put on the mattress and a pillow case was ribbed and the fire alarm was chirping! I called housekeeping and they came and photographed and corrected it! Lots of people working the valet parking, but texting them requesting your car do not seem to work as they asked on the ticket! Still I would stay there again!
