Let me start by saying hotel was beautiful and staff super kind and helpful… give them a 5 star… but the transfer service which takes you to the hotel and airport a gentleman by the name of Alvin was super disrespectful and rude refused to help us and called us a liar to our face…. Besides that gentlemen and his blunt refusal to help all was amazing

It’s a very kid-friendly resort. There’s kids play-areas in every restaurant and there’s even a kids-club with its own little water park. We stayed in a swim-up suite and our kids (4 and 2) loved the pool. The food was great (definitely make a visit to Brass Steakhouse). The beach would have been nicer if it wasn’t for the sargassum but there’s nothing any resort can do about it, except for cleaning it anyway. It would be nicer if the resort made an effort of advertising the conditions of the beach in different parts of the resort so you’re not walking all the way to the beach.

It was a last-minute decision to get away for my birthday, and I absolutely loved this place. The hotel was super clean, the service was amazing, and it was an excellent value for an all-inclusive stay. The only downside was the pricing for the extra activities. The spa and romantic packages were quite expensive. For example, the birthday package with balloons and a strawberry cake with no strawberries cost around $400, salty Other than that, it was an amazing birthday getaway, and I would definitely recommend it.

Atmosphere

PROS The bartenders are friendly and nice. Shoutout Antonio and Amber by the pool. Fiod quantity: A lot of restaurant options every night to try something new. The private pool was amazing and had a good view to the ocean The nightly shows were amazing. All of the dancers and performers were incredibly talented and it was an absolute treat every night. Unexpected high level entertainment. Room service was awesome. CONS Bedding: was not comfortable at all. Sheets felt like a public school paper towel and pillows felt like they were made in bedrock. The beach: not sure if it was just a bad time of year but the beach was absolutely disgusting & filled with seaweed everywhere. They were consistently bulldozing and trying to clean it but to no avail. If you are expecting a beautiful beach, go elsewhere. No one was even at the beach, let along in the water. Everyone was by the pool each day. Reservations for restaurants: we were told that a few restaurants needed reservations. We called around noon for reservation that night & they were full. They said they were booked into next week. Not very ideal for a 4 day vaca. Restaurants: Many restaurants that didnt do reservations had long wait times depending on when you went. Go early. Food Quality: Just wasn't that great. Kids: although advertised as "adults only", one side of the resort is family . So dont expect a true "adults only" experience during dinner or entertainment

Amazing trip! The staff is fantastic, so helpful and the activities and entertainment staff is top tier. 100% recommend!

We had a very good stay. The food was excellent, the facilities were beautiful, and the reception staff provided a wonderful welcome and excellent service. One area that could be improved is the customer service, especially at the buffet. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay, and we would definitely come back, and recommend the Hotel .

I booked Majestic Mirage Punta Cana expecting a luxury 5-star experience, but unfortunately my stay was very disappointing. On our first night, after returning from the pool, I grabbed a rolled towel for my children to shower. As soon as I opened it, four live cockroaches crawled out. Thinking it may have been an isolated incident, I continued getting my children ready, but within minutes they began screaming as more cockroaches appeared around the bathtub while they were showering. I have photos and videos documenting everything. When I contacted the front desk, the solution offered was to fumigate the room within minutes while my family, including my children, was still there. I found this completely unacceptable. We were eventually moved to another room, but the experience ruined the beginning of our vacation and caused my children significant distress. The resort itself has beautiful grounds, pools, and many hardworking staff members, but cleanliness and room quality fell far below what is expected from a luxury resort. What made the experience even more disappointing was the lack of meaningful accountability. Management's only response was offering a 25-minute massage or having us complete an incident report. No appropriate compensation or sincere effort was made to resolve the situation. I hope the resort addresses its pest control and customer service so other families do not experience what we did. I cannot recommend this resort based on our experience.
