Extremely Disappointing — Elite in Name Only I stayed at Riu Palace Macao in an Elite Club room, and the hospitality and overall experience were extremely disappointing. The room had significant rust and corrosion on multiple pieces of furniture and fixtures. I also found black spotting inside several light fixtures that appeared to be possible mold or moisture buildup. I showed reception photos and repeatedly asked to see another Elite room before packing and moving. Instead of addressing my request, I was brushed off and told maintenance would come. After waiting, maintenance arrived. I asked if all the rooms had this corrosion and was told yes. I specifically asked if another room would have the same problem, and again was told all rooms were like this. When I pointed out the black spotting and said it looked like mold, the employee ran his finger across it and told me it was “fine.” Beyond the room, the hospitality was simply poor. Staff often seemed indifferent rather than welcoming or eager to resolve concerns, and room service food was terrible. I spent too much of my vacation trying to get basic concerns addressed. Paying extra for Elite Club made the experience even more disappointing. Nothing about the service, room condition, or hospitality felt Elite. I would not return.

It’s a bait and switch the address is not where the location is and the rooms shown are not available. It’s still under construction and has regular black outs. Next to a cemetery. Do not stay here pictures not as shown. AGAIN DO NOT STAY HERE BAIT AND SWITCH NOT AS ADVERTISE. And Expedia nor the hotel will compensate.

We found that breakfast hours were generous, which was great because we didn't always want to wake up early on vacation. We appreciated being able to have breakfast closer to 10 in the morning.

I rarely leave reviews, but I want to warn others before booking. The photos do not reflect the actual condition of the studio, and this is not a beach property. We arrived around 11:00 PM due to flight and customs delays. Although the listing states the office is open until 11:00 PM, no one was available and the studio was left unlocked. We were later informed a cash electricity deposit was required ($10 per unit, three total), which was not disclosed in the Expedia listing. I contacted Expedia before arrival and on check-in day but received no help. The bathroom was unusable due to a broken shower head, clogged drain, and broken toilet handle. There were insufficient towels, some were dirty, no washcloths, and the sofa bed does not pull out. The next morning, we were forced to report to the office at 10:00 AM despite explaining we were celebrating my daughter’s birthday and had an 8:20 AM excursion pickup. The property manager was rude, dismissive, and inflexible. The office opened late, causing us to miss half our excursion, lose included transportation, and pay $40 for a taxi. I also paid over $40 in electricity for a two-night stay despite minimal use. Misleading listing, poor communication, rude management, maintenance issues, hidden fees, and no support from Expedia. I recommend reconsidering before booking.

Todo muy bueno. Lo unico que no estuvo bien fue al entrar a la habitación el día del check in olvidaron entregar la habitación apta. No había jabón, shampoo, café y vasos, plancha. La habitación no estaba preparada. Pero todo lo de más muy bien.
