“We had a very comfortable stay. The room was very clean, the breakfast made to your order with additional cereal and juice available. The staff were very friendly and concerned about our needs. Car parking was provided at the back. The location was within walking distance from the town centre pubs and restaurant as well as next to a big Tesco. Perhaps the TV was a tad small. ”

We stayed in the Bothy which was very big and even had a little kitchenette. “From arriving to leaving Catherine was the best hostess ever. Most helpful with tips re where we could get a good evening meal and short cuts to the park and ride. Choices for breakfast were excellent although we just opted for cereal, yogurt and toast. Rooms are first class. I had a great nights sleep. First class rooms and I will certainly recommend. “Excellent location for both forest and local villages and towns. Quiet location, all meals very good, breakfast you couldn’t ask for more options. Staff excellent , efficient, yet couldn’t do more. Beers from Cropton brewery excellent and good choices. Some of building from 400 years very quirky rooms on multiple levels, confusing at first but yousoon become accustomed.”
