The staff were lovely and the breakfast was great with loads of choice. The house itself is in a good location and is walkable in around 15 minutes to the town centre. The decor in the rooms is very dated though and the furniture is a little worn. Overall it was good value though and we enjoyed our first time in York.

The room was nice and clean, bed was firm but comfortable. We had an issue with our first room where we weren't able to open the windows, but the staff were very helpful by allowing us to go to another room. Only suggestion I'd have would be getting smart tvs, but obviously thats not a necessity and oberlal had a wondeful stay!

Nice little B&B within walking distance to the city centre. This was a convenient location with onsite parking available. The room was spacious and comfortable for the most part although our bed was very creaky so maybe the mattress or base needs replacing. Shower was excellent and the breakfast was good, recommended!

We had a lovely room on the second floor. It was clean with the essentials. The breakfast...First class. The cooks and waitresses were fantastic and the food. Epic. Would rate people to stay here always. The only tiny gripe was the cost of the car park and the toilet seat was broken. All in all. If you go to York, stay here :)

Property itself is a little tired, curtains fell down when we tried to pull them across in our room. 5 flights of stairs to the room, and 6 down to breakfast, no lift.
