Jackson was very knowledgeable about the area. Beds were comfy. Breakfast was a little lacking, just a piece of quiche on a plate. But overall a nice stay.
Staff was helpful for the most part! The courtyard was a great place for conversation and relaxation. It was an easy and delightful walk to excellent restaurants and historic sights. The evening front desk guy was not knowledgeable or helpful on touring.
The room was comfortable and decorated beautifully. The beds were amazing!! The breakfast was wonderful, however more daily choices, other than the daily special, would have been a bonus. Al the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again and definitely recommend John Rutledge House ...
Perfect location and room. Could not have asked for a better stay
I loved the location next to the river yet close to the beach and ocean. It was wonderful to wake up and look out the window to see dolphins and pelicans.
The website had not been updated for the new accommodations since they are still under renovation. Based on my booking prior to them updating their web page I was under the impression I would have had another room. We were told we were given an upgrade but we were in the old wine cellar and sister ...
First, I wanted to express my disappointment over the agreed charge being higher on my credit card for our stay versus on the Expedia website. I advised Expedia and the lady at the inn, but it was not resolved. I totally blame Expedia for it since I booked my stay with them, but not with the property ...
The hotel was amazing! From the staff to the decor to the rooms, everything was very nice and looked very clean. The location was perfect as well. Very close to everything we wanted to do and not in a busy area either as it's down it's own little street. The staff was very professional and was there ...
We loved the Plantation Oaks Inn. Great location, cozy and lovely room, Steven was a great host and chief, and beautiful grounds and back yard nature.
During the time of the pandemic this B&B was the perfect non-hotel location on the river with gorgeous Five oaks. The hosts Rob and Zach so interesting to talk with having lived all over the world made for break great breakfast conversation. Very easy access to downtown historic Charleston. Zach ...
We had a nice stay. It’s a historic place and quaint. The staff was great. Thank you Martha, Angela, and Carla. Very courteous and helpful! Can’t beat the location.
I was upgraded to a room at the Cannonboro inn due to construction near the Ashley Inn and I appreciated that. Breakfast is at 8am and earlier is not an option, so please note this if, like me, you need to leave before 8am.
