A beautiful experience at this amazing hotel! The breakfast was delicious and had many dairy-free options for my husband who struggles at restaurants with a dairy allergy. The room was a delightful place to rest. The pillows were amazing! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this hotel.

The hotel was well located. Walking distance from most things. The staff was friendly and professional. Our room was beautiful! Lots of space and a comfortable bed and pillows. We were very happy and would stay at the Grand for our next visit.

Beautiful hotel, all the staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were lovely and well equipped, highly recommend. We used the spa which was great and also had afternoon tea which was delicious. Valet parking was an excellent service with very friendly and helpful staff.

Property full of character staff are excellent very helpful and polite we had a comfort room and it was more than adequate for our needs with a large bathroom. Breakfast was super a massive range and choice from full English to toast and jam, cereals or continental a great stay and we will return

Weird though no table and chairs to eat in room ( plenty of room for one) Sofa and 2 chairs not sure why for 2 guests. Tv sound was very poor needs an upgrade Overall great would stay again. From arrival to departure, our stay was very enjoyable. Highlights were spacious and comfortable room, Top-ten best shower of all time. Valet parking and to top it all a 5* restaurant with an excellent menu, superbly cooked food and just amazing staff. We had an issue with the wine as they made a small mistake but dealt with it with professionalism and politeness. The only negative comment would be that it is going to be too long until I come back.

Superbly situated 5 star hotel within walking distance of the station and the city centre. All the staff were so friendly helpful and efficient. My room was spacious, warm, quiet and very well equipped with a fridge, bath and large Smart TV. There was ample storage space and a table , desk and 2 armchairs. Live music in the bar on Saturday night was a welcome surprise. It is all waiter service which was lovely.

If you want a nice central stay, then this is one to consider. We had a couple of issues, which were resolved on the day. However, getting two bottles of sparkling water into the room seemed like a challenge, and being charged £16 for it felt like a lot, especially since they supplied only one bottle and charged for two, and the hotel already provides small bottles of still water. I was not expecting this to be charged, as I have experienced in other 5-star hotels.
