The place doesn’t look like it the picture is on a internet,very looks big but it is very small

We loved this hotel- the staff were lovely, and so accommodating. We needed to leave our bags and it was no problem. The room was so clean, and very modern. Such a nice vibe! The location was ideal- everywhere was walkable and close to all the sights in Old San Juan.

This apartment was absolutely amazing. It was a penthouse suite, super large space, great for a family, and so comfortable. It honestly felt like home away from home . I don’t think we could’ve chose a better place in the local area! I cannot wait to come back in the future. Also, the host was so easy to get a hold of and so helpful with many great recommendations for food and coffee. You will not regret this booking. Make sure that you take advantage of this beautiful space! And let’s not forget the view, the view from this specific penthouse was spectacular, breathtaking, and unbelievably beautiful!

We’ve been to Puerto Rico two times before and this was our first time staying in San Juan. We loved the overall vibe of the Don Rafa. It felt very upscale, but not pretentious. The views at breakfast and from the pool were phenomenal. The pool is definitely more of a lounging pool rather than for swimming, but it was exactly what we were looking for. Our room was very nice, big, and clean. The bathroom was very small, but clean and modern. We enjoyed having the refrigerator and walked around the corner to the grocery store to stock up on snacks and drinks. There are several restaurants just across the street, two of which are open 24/7. We enjoyed Pizza Birria, Los Pinos, and Puebla. I also highly recommend walking about 10 minutes to the rooftop restaurant, Eter. We took a Lyft to Escambron Beach and it was nice. However, we really preferred to purchase day passes for some of the local resorts if we wanted to spend a day at a pool that was right on the beach (highly recommend Fairmont El San Juan and Condado Ocean Club). We would definitely stay at Don Rafa again!
