Loved our stay so much we are coming back for our last night in town

The rooms in the basement are definitely not a 4 star experience. Although clean, this is more a 2 star hotel. During our stay the carpet was also wet and there were a few dehumidifiers running continuously.

This was a great hotel in an excellent location. Walkable to much of what we wanted to see in Edinburgh. Our room was very small and the twin beds were like a thin pad on a wooden platform, but we still slept pretty well. The breakfast was just OK - we recommend going to the coffee shop a few doors up instead. The staff were really nice and helpful.

Great breakfast. Room was very basic. Soap dispenser was empty in shower. Could not connect to internet (staff tried to help but no luck. I was able to connect all over Scotland, but not at the hotel. Had to go nextdoor to Costa to use internet). One elevator wasn't working. Had to ask front desk for a bath mat. Will never stay at an Ibis Hotel again.

The property was well located in proximity to the centre. The parking was good right outside the property. The room was spacious, clean and well appointed. On arrival I was greeted by the owner who was very approachable and helpful during my stay. Definitely visiting again.
