Excellent stay. Location was fabulous - a short walk to all major attractions and public transit outside our door. We had a room with a VIEW and it was outstanding. Room was very clean, front desk was super friendly and responsive to our needs. Breakfast was great too. Bathroom had really nice toiletries which is always appreciated. The Mount Royal is in a perfect location for exploring the city of Edinburgh. The staff were friendly and helpful. The twin room we booked was clean, quiet and spacious. We also had breakfast which was delicious with stunning views over Princess Street, it was also great value for money. We would definitely stay here again. 🙂

I extremely enjoyed my stay in Edinburgh because of the location the hotel is at. The staff was super helpful accommodating making sure our stay was as comfortable and as safe as we want it, everything from the hotel is walking distance from the locations that I need to go to the walk for no more than 15 minutes if not less Transportation at the hotel was amazing

Really nice updated rooms with a wonderful view of the castle, Scott monument and the university. The staff was very friendly and allowed us to store our luggage and gave us ideas of things to do in the area until we were able to check in. This was the nicest hotel we stayed in during our 2 week trip to Scotland. It was also the most expensive one. Although very expensive, it is located on Princes Street, and so was very convenient to catch the Tram to the airport.
