“I normally have a great experience, this time the room I was given first looked like someone else was using it. I got it changed to not a great room despite the hotel being more or less empty. But the new room was only set for one night rather than two - which I got sorted on the second day , but it’s just nit what you expect, especially with the hotel being quiet . “The hotel is oozing of old world charm, but the location its clearly not what it was during its high day. Cathedral Square after dark can best be described as a ghetto and we took long de-tours to avoid the area, but the hotel is situated only 100 yards from the before mentioned square. Trying to smoke a cigarette outside was simply impossible due to the sometimes aggressive beggars that always floats around.
