Hotel is literally across from Birmingham Airport. We missed our flights to Valencia due to Avanti Trains taking 8.5 hours to make a 4 hour journey. (What a disgrace and joke of a company) Anyway we booked flights for following morning. Checked into hotel and was so pleased we did. Room is big and bed is comfy. Usual tea/coffee making facilities and lovely bathroom. Room was spotless and very quiet, we had a great nights sleep. This is an excellent hotel.

Staff were lovely, dinner at the restaurant was fabulous and the rooms we booked were beautifully clean. What let the hotel down was the high temperature of the bedrooms. The air conditioning in the rooms couldn’t be adjusted. There were electric fans in the wardrobes but these didn’t make much of a difference to the room temperature. We booked the Novotel the night before a very early flight to get the best sleep possible but unfortunately none of us (5 people) slept well due to the room temperature which impacted on the next day.
