The Inn is beautiful -with an awesome view and easy access to downtown Bar Harbor - and very close to Acadia National Park. Our room was beautiful and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious! I highly recommend the Saltair Inn to all travelers.”

“The Cromwell is owned by kids who were gifted the property by their parents. Out of a 7500 mile road trip. This was by far the cleanest the nicest kept grounds inside and out. Everything looked brand new and still maintaining some charm from their parents era. I made it a point to go to the office and tell the staff only need to be lucky enough to meet two of the kids! “Had a wonderful 2 nights stay in a spacious room with a king size bed, fireplace, two sitting chairs and full-size bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and I appreciated that the room came with an air-conditioner unit as the temperatures were very warm that week. Coffee, tea, water and homemade snacks were provided in the afternoon and breakfast was included and served in choice of two locations. The unit was on the second floor, so it was a little bit challenging for me because I have bad knees, but we're very satisfied with the place. It's not too far from Acadia National Park. I would recommended it. The communication with host was fast.”
