Wonderful property-so beautiful! Decorated with great attention to authentic detail. The continental breakfast was superb! All the staff was welcoming and extremely helpful. Wonderful location within walking distance of all shops, restaurants and the harbor. It is the perfect place to stay and enjoy all that Bar Harbor has to offer.

I liked my stay at the Bat Harbor Grand Hotel. The room was good and spacious, breakfast was sufficient in choice and the surrounding island is beautiful. Parking super comfortable and free.

This is a beautiful property with nice amenities like a pool and hot tub, and free breakfast. Its an old style, but fairly new hotel. Looks like its from the early 1900's.

The hotel is spotless, immaculate. The breakfast is called a continental breakfast but is a full breakfast with variety for all eaters. The staff is kind, available and respond to any needs immediately. Location, location, location. Close to anything you might want to do, or get to in Bar Harbor. Free parking. The Grand Hotel, built 21 years ago is a replica of of another much older hotel in the area that was torn down. The new Grand is a fine example of older architecture, but with modern conveniences. Comfy large rooms that make for a very pleasant stay. The breakfast was set up exquisitely, great options, & was watched over by Joshua (nickname Ray) to greet the guests & make sure everything runs smoothly. We are here for 4 nights & would not hesitate to book this hotel again when in the area.

This hotel is conveniently located on the main street of Bar Harbor. Breakfast was good with hot entrees, yogurt, fresh fruit, coffee cakes, hot and cold cereals, juices, coffee and teas. Our king bed was comfortable, but the side chair was uncomfortable. Each day we received chocolates. Please note that many businesses, museums and locations in town and Acadia didn't open until 5/15 or later. There was free parking in town until that date.
