My wife and I had a truly wonderful stay at Holiday Inn Resort in Bar Harbor. The location is beautiful, and we loved reading by the water as the sun set. The rooms, the grounds, and all the facilities are very clean and well-maintained. The staff and management are so kind and accommodating, we felt completely taken care of. Would highly recommend this for a high-quality stay a short drive from downtown Bar Harbor!

We found this resort to be peaceful & tranquil with beautiful grounds to explore. It was clean & nicely decorated & they provided 24 hr coffee, tea, & cocoa & a microwave. It’s only a little over a mile to the entrance of Arcadia Nat’l Park & about 22 mins from the Bass Harbor Lighthouse - both are a must! Lots of nice areas in Bar Harbor - parks, shops, restaurants- beautiful area. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Newly renovated. AMAZING views and location!! Very helpful staff. Loved it! Breakfast is not included but there is a restaurant in the hotel and free coffee and tea in the lobby. Pool was nice and the hot tub was a life saver after a long day of hiking.

We stayed for 4 days to hike around Acadia NP. The hotel was clean and staff was great. They had a wonderful heated pool and hot tub. The resort was close to Bar Harbor and one of the entrances to Acadia NP. The only downside, which makes it a 4 star instead of a 5, is that they advertised 4 restaurants on site but really only had one. The poolside bar was clased as was the one down by the shore. overall, we enjoyed our stay - the view was amazing and i would recommend it to others.
