Opening in 1932, it has served the town of Bar Harbor as a movie palace ever since, accomodating such prominent families as the Rockefellers on their vacations to nearby Mount Desert Island. Kept in fantastic condition over the years, the theatre still has most of its original interior: seats, curtains, and even the original lighting board for stage performances. We enjoyed out stay at Little Fig. The rooms were clean, comfortable beds and felt like home. Breakfast was perfect for a grab and go, but nothing to sit down and eat. I would stay here again!

This was a nice motel. The room was comfortable and very clean. They had a nice variety of muffins, yogurt, Kind bars, juice, coffee, teas, and hot chocolate in the mornings. In the evening there were home baked goodies. The staff was so friendly. I would definitely recommend this motel.
