That it was in the middle of a great area and you could walk to tons of places.
Amazing hotel great service. Just be mindful of additional charges at the hotel, when booking through Expedia.
Obviously a property that was a different hotel and repainted into a Kimpton. Was a bit disappointed to be honest, however still good value for money given the location. Pros: free breakfast, location, safe Cons: terrible gym, interior is a bit dated
Patricia at the front desk was extremely helpful !
We've stayed in this hotel twice now when we do "stay-cations" and love it. There was plenty of space for us and our 20 month old toddler. One thing I was concerned about was the glass coffee table in the living room area due to the child. Besides that it was amazing and plan to return.
If you have a confirmed reservation, you should not have to try your luck at finding a place to park on the street two blocks from the hotel on a busy night. Additionally Expedia should disclose during the reservation process that $35 per night parking is offered by the hotel on their property. Unfortunately ...
it was a great place highly recommend it for anyone going to the area
The property is conveniently located and the staff was friendly. The price wasn’t bad either. I would recommend
Very clean and nice views! I will more than stay again.
A GREAT location and very friendly staff! Inviting lobby area, the suites are spacious but in need of some serious renovations. Its just old, needs painting, serious cleaning... you completely over look that when we had such a great rate for the stay and the location, however in non pandemic times ...
Fast and easy. Guy was friendly and all I did was show my ID.
Great hotel, walking distance to Capitol Hill. Unfortunately, I traveled during the Coronavirus, which shut down the city, but otherwise, the hotel was excellent, and I would stay here again In the future.
Room was very large and nice! We had 2 double beds, there was a walk in closet, a desk, and a chair. The room had a nice patio with 2 chairs as well. The desk was very helpful and friendly. Masks were required throughout the hotel. Unfortunately there was no parking on site (No valet) so we had some ...
A fabulous, funky place. My favorite hotel in DC.
Fantastic hotel... rooms extremely clean and comfortable. Pool area excellent. Highly recommend this hotel
Close to so many restaurants! The rooms were very clean and the staff was nothing but friendly! Will definitely be staying again!
The amenities are great! Good hot and cold breakfast options, clean rooms, friendly staff, walkable area, kitchens in room, and grocery store across the street!
The property itself is outstanding! Rooms are beautiful and well appointed as are the common areas. Only complaint was service in the common dining area, which is in the lobby now, was not good. It was difficult to get a tableAnd the service staff was slow and at times inattentive. We stayed there ...
You and your four-legged buddy go everywhere together, so why should your next vacation be any different? Many travelers, especially those traveling domestically, do not want to pay for expensive kennels or catteries. You'll enjoy your vacation even more with your feline or canine companion at your side. It can be common for resorts to accommodate this demand, especially now that you're booking with AARP Travel Center Powered by Expedia®.
Once you and your pet arrive in Washington, you'll probably want to go exploring. After all, why would you bring them all the way to Washington to keep them locked up in your room all afternoon? If you are bringing your dog with you, you can bring them out to pet-friendly restaurants, stores, and dog parks. If you aren't sure of where to start, the front desk should be able to give you plenty of ideas. And if your little critter needs to stay behind at the resort when you have pet-free plans, we can help you find doggie day-cares and walking services close by. There might even be a pet-sitting service available, so make sure to check when you book your reservations.
When you book with AARP Travel, you will notice that we offer an extensive list of pet-friendly hotels. Some of them do even more to make your stay with your pet enjoyable. Some hotels have amenities, like gourmet treats, food bowls, dog-walking services, luxurious dog beds, and pet menus. So why should you stay in a pet-friendly hotel? The simple answer is to choose a hotel that allows your pet to stay with you. But if the hotel you stay at goes above and beyond for your pet, then the experience is even better. So cancel the pet-sitter, pack the treats, and head off on your shared getaway.
