Great location. Reasonable price. Attractive and clean.
this property was perfect. The location was great as it was close to restaurants. The Staff go above and beyond to make sure your needs are meet. They were friendly to my children as well. I highly recommend this The Kimpton Palomar!
Obviously a property that was a different hotel and repainted into a Kimpton. Was a bit disappointed to be honest, however still good value for money given the location. Pros: free breakfast, location, safe Cons: terrible gym, interior is a bit dated
Close to great restaurants and the National Cathedral
This property was under construction, there was a lot of noise and the lack of in house amenities was disappointing.
The desk staff was amazingly nice and helpful and the room was a great size with a kitchen
Convenient location, reasonable rates, nice decor, and comfortable bed
Location was excellent, staff was helpful, rooms were nicely decorated and clean.
I really like the bed and pillows, big TV & complimentary water bottles. The Room smelled slightly like a cat may have urinated, but it was not strong. The toilet paper is very rough, you could consider getting something a little softer and thicker.
Excelent location. Walking distance to National Mall, White House. There is a Trader Joe's just a few steps away and it is a plus since the rooms are equipped with a kitchen. Super clean and comfortable room. Front desk people were really kind and friendly.
Great experience overall. Close to major city attractions and transportation.
Was nice and good. We just spend one night. The hotel is good and confortable.
Great stay for a decent price !!! The only issue was the proximity to the hospital so the ambulance sirens woke me up once but other than that great value for money.
Great old European style hotel with much personality
Very nice hotel staff, clean lobby and great room service.
We loved the decor and amenities. Nightly parking is a bit pricey, but it was for a Valentine’s Day celebration so we overlooked the cost. The location is perfectly placed within walking distance to most sights and great restaurants. We had an amazing time and would do it again.
Great location especially to get to the convention center. Plenty of restaurants and shops close by. There was a dog park right across the street and great walking areas for us to walk her dogs. I cannot say enough about the incredible staff who were so accommodating and helpful in every way possible. ...
I loved the slippers under the bed. I loved the ambiance. Everyone seemed happy to be there guests and staff . Very warm and welcoming.
You and your four-legged buddy go everywhere together, so why should your next vacation be any different? Many travelers, especially those traveling domestically, do not want to pay for expensive kennels or catteries. You'll enjoy your vacation even more with your feline or canine companion at your side. It can be common for resorts to accommodate this demand, especially now that you're booking with AARP Travel Center Powered by Expedia®.
Once you and your pet arrive in Washington, you'll probably want to go exploring. After all, why would you bring them all the way to Washington to keep them locked up in your room all afternoon? If you are bringing your dog with you, you can bring them out to pet-friendly restaurants, stores, and dog parks. If you aren't sure of where to start, the front desk should be able to give you plenty of ideas. And if your little critter needs to stay behind at the resort when you have pet-free plans, we can help you find doggie day-cares and walking services close by. There might even be a pet-sitting service available, so make sure to check when you book your reservations.

The simple answer is to choose a hotel that allows your pet to stay with you. But if the hotel you stay at goes above and beyond for your pet, then the experience is even better.
