I absolutely loved this hotel! The staff (every employee I encountered) is exceptionally polite and friendly. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. The fitness center is outstanding. So many nice touches. They offer complimentary water bottles in the room, in the fitness center and they can be requested at anytime. I will definitely go back and would highly recommend!

The best part of the property was the staff, everyone was suppose nice and helpful. Also the hotel is in a great area with a lot of eateries, super close the theater district. My biggest critique would be the cleanliness of the rooms, they were generally clean however I can tell they don’t do deep cleans there were stains on some of the bench in the room and a smell that lacked freshness. Idk it just wasn’t the cleanness but it was fine for my short stay. I would stay again.

First time staying at a Royal Senesta and I was not disappointed. The check-in process was fast and the room was large and spacious. Most of all the property was clean and well kept. My stay was for 4 nights so I had the chance to try the restaurant which was unique and complementary to the hotel. I had one minor problem with the bathroom sink not draining and a maintenance person was immediately sent to fix the problem. If you are in the DC area and can use DuPont Circle as your base, definitely try the Royal Senesta!

Excellent front desk staff who checked us in. He was very welcoming and responsive! Room appeared clean! Was give free bottled water on check in.! Yay! Only Problem was when we didn’t have any hot water the next morning , then no one responded! Took a cold shower that morning. Of course , they took $40 off our hotel bill- but I don’t think that was worth my cold shower and that no one responded to my inquiry. Then I felt ignored!

The hotel was fine and in a great location. Staff were accommodating. My only two complaints are that I received a notification that my suite water would be unavailable from 1am to approximately 6am Saturday night (Sunday morning). Huge inconvenience. Then on my check out day Monday morning, there was no hot water for at least 2-3 hours before my check out. You just don't expect these inconveniences from a hotel of this type.
