I love these "Pods" sleeping quarter plus comfy with almost remember foam bed. I last saw Pods bed was in a European travel log magazine. The staffs and place/location and cleanliness makes the trip very Superb staying. I even extended my stay twice.
I very disappointed in the lack of attention to details like bathroom tissue, hand soap, paper towels, “chirping” smoke detectors. I don’t see myself staying here in the future.
Overall is excellent, except a girl day time receptionist should let people stay in the living room, waiting for friends come to pick up. She is not friendly and nor understanding people regarding customer services
Very cheap place but well kept and friendly people
It was okay for the Price.
Location, amenities, service all good. Everything is well organized and run.
Very clean facility the faculty and staff were very friendly and helpful and very communicative. I pretty much grew up in this area and for years walked past the location unaware of the service that they provide! Great place to take a load off for an inexpensive fee. Thanks
We arrived to find that confirmation did not mean anything and we had no room, and were told five others had booked or "overbooked" exactly the same room for the same date. This is not a service.
A LOT of work to be done at this Hostel. While the staff was friendly and helpful, the absence of amenities like a stove are key to have a successful hostel. There's a code to enter the property and all the rooms do not have a key or access code. There were several instances where other guests would ...
Travel is all about experiences, whether you’re trekking across the world or just miles away from home. And while you may think of backpacking students when cheap hostels come to mind, modern-day hostels appeal to a much more diverse group of people. Hostels are traditionally beloved as a great way to meet fellow travelers and as a more affordable option to hotels. They’re the perfect place to rest for the night and then get up and go on your next day of exploring Washington and beyond.
It’s customary for hostels to contain multiple bunk beds in a dorm-style room to be shared with friends (or strangers). So, can couples stay in hostels? The short answer is yes. Some of the best hostels in the world (and maybe even in Washington) are private room hostels that feature larger beds and more privacy. There are even bookable accommodations that offer family hostel rooms that provide even more space. Hostels are more commonly found internationally, but USA hostels are beginning to pop up around the country.
If secluded quarters and quiet accommodations are a priority to you during your travels, there are boutique and luxury hostels that offer upgraded private rooms, elevated décor, and higher end amenities. It’s possible to get the affordability and energy of a hostel with some elements of privacy that you’d usually only find by staying in a hotel.
