The staff is incredibly accommodating and friendly. They came to the room to light the fireplace (which is wood burning and not just gas logs). The valet was prompt when bring the car up. The complimentary continental breakfast that is included was very nice. Fresh fruit, juice, muffins, toast, cereal ...

Overall very clean and comfortable. However, we were on the backside with no view of the bay - only downside.

This property is in a great location, right on the ocean. The room was big enough for 3 adults. The staff was nice, room was clean, view was amazing! We were very satisfied.

Be aware that they now charge a $16 a night parking fee. I have stayed here 3-4 times within the last 4 years and never recall paying for parking. Alot of hotels in area do not charge for parking. Dont remember seeing this on Expedia before booking. Still very nice hotel, just dont like getting to ...

It was close to the Aquarium and Cannery Row. The Coast Guard pier was close-by and it only took 10 min. to walk to the Monterey Fisherman's Wharf and downtown Monterey.
