The Monterey Bay Inn is a quality boutique inn right on the water situated between Fisherman’s Wharf and Cannery Row. Easy walking to everything you want to see and do. Very clean and straightforward. We would stay here again.

We loved our room- quite spacious and the bathroom as well- double sinks! We also loved the balcony and being able to have coffee out there in the morning as we listened to the sea lions and enjoyed the fresh air. The complimentary breakfast was also lovely- enabled us to have a leisurely morning routine. It's the perfect area if you like to walk to things, local restaurants, etc...

The staff were excellent. The first room we were given was near some construction going on and we were concerned it might be noisy. Although the hotel is outdated, the hotel room is clean, spacious, has good size bathroom, and comfortable bed. We slept like a baby. The oceanfront view was spot on. Friendly staff. The property is walking distance to the harbor, Cannery Row, to shops, restaurants, and easy access to freeway. We will come back Monterey Bay Inn. Thanks for the great weekend.

The rooms are clean and spacious. Check-in is at 4 pm, which seems quite late. There is no gym. Breakfast is ok and you are done eating the same thing by day 3. However, most of the hotels in the area do not offer breakfast, so this is still a plus. The staff is pleasant, fast, and helpful. The Oceanview room was great.
