"The staff are fabulous, very attentive and customer focused. We had an outdoor private bath which was wonderful and highly recommended. Our one complaint is the beds (futon) they were very thin and hard. We did not sleep well. "

"Not only was the property clean, easy to locate, walkable and quiet but the lady who runs the hotel is an absolute sweetheart. The breakfast she made us was better than a lot of the food I was eating at restaurants. I would recommend this stay to anyone. "

"We had a fantastic stay at the Mikasa Ryokan, which we would describe more as an experience from the moment we entered the hotel, until the moment we were dropped back at the JR Station by the hotel shuttle bus. The staff are very attentive, the food was excellent and we would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. We did have a problem in one of the rooms we booked and we were immediately moved to another room within minutes. Fantastic experience and one everyone should try if...
