The APA hotel was lovely. There seemed to be a few in the area, but this one was in a very convenient location and accessible to trains and shopping and food. VERY clean rooms and the laundry room was so helpful on a long trip. Would absolutely stay here again.

Be warned that you will be booking a very small room. But it is very clean and comfortable with nice amenities. This hotel is literally sitting over the subway system and getting around is a breeze. If I were visiting as a couple, I would book the larger room with two beds as the large double bed I booked would be too small for us.

The location couldn’t be more perfect with the metro line right at the door steps of the property. You could easily get to downtown/dotonbori quickly via metro or take a leisurely 20-25 minute walk. The rooms however are absolutely TINY. If you have a large check in bag, you will barely be able to find space to open it. But otherwise, the property was still quite lovely and clean. Would recommend.

Elevator hell. I’m not sure if I came for a visit during tourist peak season, but it takes FOREVER to enter an elevator. The check in process took about an hour for me. The rooms were really tiny. Just enough space to walk to your bed. My bathroom was dirty. The only thing this place had going for it was the close proximity to the subway. Other than that, I do not recommend.
