The hotel may be somewhat antiquated, but the price is reasonable for our group of three. The staff is accommodating and friendly, and the hotel's private hot tub is a significant advantage.

At a prime location, right next to Nara Station, the property is extremely convenient, and well maintained. It however is very dated, telling from the room design (back decades ago) to the onsen facilities (very small in size, relative to the numbers of room of the property). It definitely requires an uplifting to match demands of travellers nowadays.

Old fashioned hotel with easy access to JR station. Large room and fast check in and Checkout process. Neither the public bath (tiny and uncomfortable changing room), nor the breakfast (average food at a unsuiting banquet hall) met our expectation on new year's day. No VIP access perks were given.
