The rooms were significantly bigger, the proximity to the park was great on a long day. Convenience stores all around with an amazing selection of food. We had a wonderful stay at the Oriental Hotel Universal City in Osaka. The property's convenient location next to the JR line and metro station made navigating our itinerary very easy, especially with it being in the heart of the Universal CityWalk and so close to Universal Studios Japan, shopping, and dining. Our room was spacious, clean, and accommodating. We also greatly enjoyed the complimentary pancakes, ice cream, drinks, and afternoon hot dogs, as well as the buffet breakfast available for guests (additional fees apply). Throughout our visit, the staff was friendly and helpful. This was our third time staying at the Oriental Hotel Universal City, and we look forward to returning in the future.

I am very particular about the hotels I stay at. This was a very nice and very clean hotel. The service and food were both excellent. The only issue I had were the pillows. The pillows are very thick and very hard. My husband and son were able to sleep on them but I was not.

The Oriental Hotel Universal City was an amazing hotel with all amenities required for a great experience. Its location is of great convenience, with Universal City station a 30 second walk away and with plenty of nearby shops for food and souvenirs. The hotel is also a minute walk away from Universal Studios Japan. All together an amazing hotel that provides a daily breakfast buffet and hot dog vouchers for throughout your stay.
