Better to go with families

The room had a strong musty smell, which made it feel damp and unpleasant from the moment we arrived. Not all of the staff were friendly or welcoming. In particular, the employees at the Sports Bar, Room Service, and some of the buffet chefs came across as rude and uninterested in providing good customer service. The pools were also not as clean as expected, which was disappointing for a resort of this category. Overall, the experience did not meet the standards I expected from RIU, and I hope these issues are addressed to improve future guests’ stays.

The food was excellent. Many options available. Our family really enjoyed our stay

All great. It will be a bit better if the pools water was a bit cooler. I believe they shall invest in installing a chiller to cool the pools during summer

The resort itself was excellent only thing is try to avoid from Expedia. The flights (frontier) extremely horrible they flew us to Atlanta Georgia from Orlando it was mind boggling. Didn’t understand why we’re going north to go south. Also we were over an hour on the runway because they couldn’t park the plane and going to Punta Cana we were in the plane on the runway for 3 and half hours. Finally when we got to Punta Cana the taxi we booked through Expedia ( talixo) didn’t show up for 1 and half hour. So say the least our whole day which were counting on was ruined. So never booking again from Expedia.
