Vacations Close To La Romana Port

Hotel Riu is the ultimate party resort. Out of all the resorts in the Dominican Republic. This was the most exciting resort I’ve stood in . It is NOT luxurious, but it’s definitely the most exciting.

The room was decent. We got a 2 bdrm it should have had 2 bathrooms for sure!! Staff were not helpful at all!!! This was our first time staying at a Riu and our last!! We are travelers, 3 times a yr minimum, and was very disappointed in service, food option were bland and repeated nightly, bkfst which is my favorite meal was even horrible! Room service options, awful 3 items which looked gross! It was a 7-10min walk to food which was exhausting especially with DR heat. Sad but firm on I will NEVER EVER stay at a Riu resort in any country i try to in the future.

Number one if you’re booking an ocean view room, none other rooms are an actual full ocean view. There are all partial rooms and they have two actual rooms that are full of periods, but they only give it to a guest who stay apparently 16 nights they said . I stayed there for seven days whenever I went to the seafood restaurant. The lobster was never properly cooked and didn’t even taste like lobster. And the French restaurant is not good. They have three actual good restaurants which is a steakhouse hibachi in Italian, which is more mid. The water views on the beach aren’t too bad unfortunately when I came here it was in August and they never disclosed that their entire beach is covered with seaweed, which would probably have been nice if they said that ahead of time. My girlfriend lost her room key and charge $90. Overall, I probably would not come back here again. It wasn’t too bad of a trip but for the price that it is it 100% should be way better and they are definitely way more better resources that are there for this price, this resort is major false advertisement and is 100% not as good as it makes it seem like
