“New hotel - nice, clean, newly and tastefully decorated, great location in the middle of Henley-on-Thames, not far from the river. Good breakfast and dinner. Very nice external seating area with retractable roof and TVs to watch sport (world cup was on). Other good restaurants, Waitrose and Sainsbury’s Local nearby. Still need to fix some teething problems - coffee pods and machine provided weren’t matched, no air conditioning in the room (we stayed during a heat wave - electric fan kindly...

“Excellent location in central Reading. Rooms are clean and modernized with functional air conditioning, which was needed in the hot summer. There was noise from upstairs but staff helpfully gave me a complimentary upgrade into a nicer room. Room rate was very reasonable. Would definitely visit Garner again!”

“The Market House has very nice employees that will hold your luggage pre and post stay and even deliver to your room. The hotel is very close to the city center. Otherwise, nothing special. Just an average hotel room. Note: You will need to sign a waver releasing them from responsibility in case of fire as there are no functioning windows.”

“This pub is a really well looked after and the rooms are super comfortable... lovely bed, large rooms... The breakfast is top quality and a great comfortable experience... The only things to note are, it is not as close to Henley as I thought, it was about 4-5 miles away and there is NO mobile reception in the pub or the rooms... if you need to make or receive any calls, you have to walk around the car park or the village for a reception...! Apart from that, I would definately go back and stay,...
