We're told at reception that the room was up 2 flight of stairs but it would be worth it, Walking into room 12 our breath was taken away, it was definitely worth the climb. “Great pub/hotel and the family room we booked was very spacious, tea and coffee available in room with biscuits and bottled water in a fridge. wifi had good signal and easy to connect to although no usb points in the room. Plenty of sockets though including by the beds. Shower was powerful and hot and tubes of soap/shampoo also supplied. Staff very friendly and accommodating, remembered our drinks for breakfast and allergies for dinner. The breakfast buffet was good with a selection of...

“We had a great stay at The School House. The room was very comfortable and Helen was very helpful in providing a delicious breakfast so we could leave promptly to see the Manchester Marathon. There is a pleasant walk nearby (recommended by Helen) and we had a great meal at The Fox - just a short walk away. ”
