The staff is very friendly and helpful. I can’t say enough about how friendly the staff are here. They were always willing to help and ensured we were doing well. Amazing. The breakfast was good. Hotel is very quiet. We extended our stay here based on how happy we were with the hotel.

This is an amazing hotel with amazing staff. We actually stayed here twice. We booked for 2 nights and then extended that stay. Then we went to another hotel in Manchester for 2 nights but immediately regretted that and booked at The Alan for the remainder of our trip. When we returned, the staff remembered us. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They answered our questions and offered to help when needed. Always greeted us when we arrived too. The breakfast was always delicious. The majority of the high rating was due to the staff. Thank you!!

It is really close to the city centre, gay village and picadilly. The staff are really friendly. The interior design was cute for signature room we got, we upgraded with just £10. I thought that was a real good cheap price for an upgrade. I wish they could of used better washing power or liquid for covers and towels cos the smell. It wasnt a bad smell but it defo wasnt the best either. The bed and pillow is not comfertable for light sleeper but it is decent. And last the heater was not working at all. They did offer for change our rooms though which was nice.

Nice hotel with minimalist decor smack dab in the centre of town. 1 minute to St. Peter’s Square and the Town Hall, 1 minute to China Town. Friendly and accommodating staff. Comfy bedroom with work area, fridge and tea/coffee station. Good deal for price. Would definitely stay again next time I’m in town.

Staff were extremely helpful, attentive and friendly. The only downsides were the room had a hair on the bath, the shower curtain wasn’t the cleanest and when using the fan it expelled dust over the bed and my sisters bag, other than that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The breakfast had a good selection and was fresh and replenished well.

Have stayed here before and came back because of the great price in such a good location. I also love the reception and bar / breakfast areas. The rooms are a little lacking but for the price, it’s all you need. I would stay again!
