“Nice comfy room, excellent breakfast, friendly owner's. Plenty of parking nearby (Free between certain hours). Excellent Italian restaurant, traditional fish and chip shop and another pub (that serves food on the evening) within a five minute walk.”

“Very nice accommodation, clean and well appointed. Great shower, comfy bed and nice quality bedding. Breakfast was very good - tasty bacon and egg roll, yoghurts, cereals, fresh fruit. Highly recommended. ”

“Good location and clean, attractive property with plenty of space - ideal for a family. It was a last minute booking so we were grateful to find it. We were absolutely warned about possible noise from the bar below and that it would go on late (and earplugs were provided) so we can't complain about this because it wasn't a surprise, but I don't think I could stay there again at a weekend.”

“We had a wonderful weekend at the Wheatsheaf - everything from arrival to departure was just wonderful. The onsite parking in the middle of a town was very welcome. The staff on arrival were friendly and helpful and the room was clean, comfortable and tastefully furnished (thank you for the room upgrade).
