Lovely hotel near Rockefeller Center

The staff was attentive and extremely courteous. Any issues we had were almost instantly resolved. The hotel's interior architecture and decorations are magnificent. Would recommend it to anyone and would go again if possible. Wonderful place and people.

Go for the service experience, not the accommodati

The service was excellent but it's very obvious why they'll be doing a refresh soon. Nevertheless, my friend and I weren't there for paint and carpet. We were there for the experience.

Vergessenes Hotel. Es gibt nicht mehr!

Eine Woche Waldorf Astoria zum letzten Mal übernnachten war ein Erlebnis. Die Angestellten hatten keine Motivation mehr, weil sie ab Februar nicht mehr tätig sind. Das Hotel macht ab März zu und nach Renovierung werden als Wohnungen verkaufen.

Great staff who treat you like VIPS.

Although the rooms seem a bit dated, there is still an old-school elegance about the place. The Towers have a private entrance and the staff make you seem as if you are a permanent guest. Unfortunately we requested connecting rooms through Expedia which we did not get, but the hotel staff tried to make up for this by comping our breakfasts which was very nice. It was nice to have the private entrance to the towers but still have access to The Waldorf.

A VIP experience in a fantastic hotel!

This was our retirement present to ourselves much anticipated as the trip of a lifetime and we were not disappointed! Nothing was too much trouble for the wonderful team of staff who looked after our every need from start to finish. Our room was on the 40th floor and had every facility that you would expect from a 5* plus a fantastic view of the Chrysler building! Price we paid included a daily fantastic continental breakfast buffet and as an added bonus afternoon tea buffet which we weren't aware of onto we checked in. I can't praise enough the superb experience our 5 day stay gave us we intend to make a return visit in 3 years time once all the refurbishments are completed.

I, along with my niece and her children, had an excellent experience at the Waldorf. The room was lovely, the view was great and the beds were extremelt comfortable. Also, the staff members with whom we interacted were very pleasant and accomodating.

Wonderful old lady

Loved the Waldorf. It oozes old fashion charm and history. Stayed in a Tower Suite large and elegant room. Service is great and the staff are so helpful. Maybe because they also love the hotel. Go now as the hotel closes end of Feb. Shame on New York to allow this wonderful building to be dis spoiled.

Great location. Old world charm. Clean.

We had a very pleasant stay in the hotel. Even though the fittings and furnishings are showing their age, they are kept in a clean and good working condition. Staff was efficient and courteous. I would go again.

Historic, conveniently located destination hotel

We had a 2BR suite at the Towers at Waldorf Astoria. Huge, well appointed, nice view. The hotel itself is pretty historic; iconic lobby and outlets there.

Old World Elegance

The beds are amazing!Hotel is a bit dated but has a certain Old World elegance. Loved my junior suite with a separate dressing room, closets and large bathroom. Service was inconsistent. The bellmen were exceptional...Paul, Sinan and Chin. As was Mike in the Astoria Room for breakfast. The breakfast was exceptional and a great start to the day with lots of choices. Having the lobby bars were perfect for drinks before dinner or a nightcap. The gym was one of the best hotel gyms. Loved the complimentary water and steam room. But I think the hotel is livig on it's past reputation. With the exception of those mentioned, I found the service just average. For what I paid to stay in the Towers, I wasn't blown away. Disappointing as I'd always wanted to stay at the Waldorf.

老舗ホテル

アパートタイプのスイートに泊まりました。部屋は凄く広くて快適でした。ですが、基本的に高層ビルばかりなので３７階でしたが、窓からはビルしか見えませんでした。古い建物なので、エレベーターやセキュリティボックス等は旧式です。アメニティに歯ブラシはありません。酷評ですが、由緒あるホテルなので一回は泊まってもいいと思います。
