Good place convenient and sad to know at check out no Howard johnsons will remain. We will miss it.

found there to be a party going on below our room that extended past midnight. Upon consultation with front counter staff I was informed that the party would be short lived and would adhere to the quiet time policy. At 1145pm, i attended to the front counter again and was informed from the original counter staff that it was not her problem anymore and left the building. I asked the new night staff member, what would be done about this issue and he informed me that he would take care of it. Half hour later the noise had NOT stopped and I then contacted Expedia customer service to deal with the situation.

It's an older highway motel but it's in good shape for its age. The room was fine. Bathroom is old fashioned but everything worked and the shower was an old school gusher. Location is good and it's comfortable enough if you don't need it modern. I would suggest they invest in flat screen TVs and improve the TV reception, though.

Taxi driver told me it was closing down, staff very friendly and welcoming but room and bathroom very dated compared to others I had stayed in. Easy walk to harbour and downtown restaurants, a Tim Hortons on the other side of the road for breakfast.

It is a run down hotel. Old, stinky. We got a room in the basement. It was noisy, reasonably clean. At night there was all kind of business going on in adjacent rooms. It was a bad experience for us. Unfortunately that is what you get if you book a hotel room for $ 100

Hotel is tired and run down. Carpets stained and wore out. Walls chipped and in need of paint. Fixtures poor and need replaced. Saving grace was the staff who were friendly and accommodating

An older hotel. You get what you pay for. We stayed in room 214 which was clean and the bed was fairly comfortable. The TV was horrible. It needs to be replaced immediately. Very fuzzy channels!

This hotel was built about 40 plus years ago. Bathroom has original fixtures(porcelain tub). Rooms have been updated and were very clean. The bed was comfortable. The room had a small refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. The room, although small, was clean and comfortable. We had two small dogs with us and they were comfortable too. Wish they had a hall light as you entered the room for the closet. That area was very dim.
