Great property and well maintained Brogan at the front desk was wonderful and got us squared away quickly. We saw him every morning and he checked in to make sure everything was good We love the Marriot and will stay again

Great experience. The young lady at the front desk was able to accommodate our request for an early check in, which helped us a lot. The room was clean and welcoming, and our kids loves the pool. Everyone we spoke to was polite and pleasant.

Breakfast at the restaurant was delish. My kids don’t like egg based meals (ie scrambled eggs or French toast), so we requested a “kids pancakes” off-menu from the restaurant - which the kids loved. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend this hotel.

the front desk attendant from Ukraine was amazing! He was so thoughtful, thorough in explanations, and so kind and a wonderful welcoming smile. The room attendant was also very helpful on numerous occasions to provide what we needed in our room. The bedding was SO soft and comfortable, and the room was very quiet, so we had good nights sleep. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub also. This is a very convenient location to walk down to the harbor and to the Newcastle ferry to that gem of an island.

Good. If you want something easy to book without having to think too much about everything this is a great option. Very clean, which was a huge plus. A little bit overpriced but location is really great and the parking is less than 10 dollars a day which isn’t too bad at all for downtown.

Our stay at the Marriott was great. The rooms were a good size and our stay was comfortable. What stood out more is the customer service. We left some clothing behind and upon contacting the hotel, we were promptly helped by customer service to arrange for a shipping label to be sent to them so that they could ship us our belongings. The communication from the staff was excellent and we really appreciated them going above and beyond for their guests.

The room and bathroom were clean and spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The front desk staff were very friendly. However, our room didn’t get cleaned so we didn’t have fresh towels or coffee for morning. No big deal but it’s nice to have that done for you while you’re on vacation. The hotel is close to the board walk and it was nice to walk along it. There’s also some nice little shops in the vicinity. Night time gets a little sketchy though. Over all we enjoyed our stay.
