My best friend and I had a great time for her 30th birthday. The atmosphere is so relaxing and the food wasn’t bad for all inclusive. Shoutout to Xavier, Wilson, Mary, and Orlando for being so accommodating. We will be back!

Riu Palace Macao is a beautiful resort. The grounds are well maintained & immaculate. Upon arrival we were not given instructions or details about our Elite Club offers. We did not know that we could go to a specific restaurant, bar, or the exclusive part of the beach which caused us to miss out on perks. We did not discover it until we were randomly approached by management. By then our trip was halfway over. Luz is the best! She gave us a tour & a better understanding. The restaurant food could be better. We did not enjoy any of our meals. The service is really slow & the waiters are forgetful. We had to ask often where pieces of our orders were, whether it was a drink or a food item. A small percentage of the staff had nasty attitudes namely, the lady at the pastry counter. We could hear patrons exiting the shop commenting about her nasty attitude. The best food we had was at the buffet. There are many options to choose from. Pepe’s has the best fried chicken. Carlos, German, & Lopez were amazing. We truly appreciate their hospitality. Please be prepared to be aggressively approached by multiple salespeople on their beach selling overpriced junk! They hardly take no for an answer. It was literally one after the other. I have NEVER been to the beach on a resort where I couldn’t just relax. The entertainment is horrible. There’s not much to do on the resort if you are not doing an excursion. Overall our stay was just okay. We will not be returning.

Excellence Punta Cana was absolutely amazing! The entire resort is beautiful, extremely clean, and very well maintained. From the moment we arrived, everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome. A special shoutout to our server Adan, who consistently went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. He truly made our experience even better. Josias at the front desk was also phenomenal. Extremely helpful, friendly, and always willing to do whatever he could to help us. The level of service here is second to none. You can tell the staff genuinely cares about their guests and takes pride in making your stay special. We had an incredible experience and will absolutely be back. 10/10 recommend Excellence Punta Cana!

Stayed here for eight days for a birthday trip and anniversary, the views are great . Food is great at certain restaurants, like the steak house and Italian are great and the Excellence club restaurant. Rooms are definitely modernize and are the highlight of the trip and room service is fantastic. What I didn’t like, here you cant go with tank top so if you’re getting ready in the morning to go to the beach or go to the pool and you wanna hit breakfast before or lunch later you literally can’t go cause you’re improperly dressed, which makes zero sense, I get it if I was in my actual swim wear but if I cover myself and wear a tank top but they still think that’s not enough that’s just doesn’t makes any sense because that’s the whole point of breakfast and lunch. It’s not dinner. Everything else was great though. Other than at restaurants Food can take up to 45 minutes to come out but will still come out. Cold makes no sense. I had to have them reheat the food after nearly waiting almost an hour for multiple times and multiple different restaurants. The only restaurant that I would consider is really bad is the hibachi. Whatever the sauce they use is terrible if you actually go to the saki restaurant and then ask for the hibachi plate and tell them to only put teriyaki sauce. it will actually taste great just like how hibachi should taste, but if you get it from their grill, the hibachi chef puts some type of sauce that destroys the entire plate. The lobster at the lobsterhouse
