“Es un hotel viejo al que le falta renovación. Exteriormente está bastante decaído. Interiormente también le falta renovación. La habitación era amplia aunque en un 3er piso sin ascensor y con muchas escaleras angostas.”

“Room was small hot on road so noisy Shower was useless small hard to use etc etc For price paid larger room with a bath ? I sometimes think Expedia guest gets the worst room in the hotel? Maybe due to the price then it discounted their paying, but I’ve seen a change recently where hotels only use large websites but like a monopoly.”

“For a 3 star hotel thought excellent. Room was large. Had comfy bed, very clean, tea and coffee supplied. Had a large bath and shower. Hotel was opposite the beach and had a lovely outside pool. Breakfast was buffet style. Had fresh fruit , yogurts, cereals. Cooked breakfast, toast. All hot and very nice.”

“The big plus is the swimming pool / jacuzzi / steam room and the very well equipped gym. The room was very pleasant and well appointed and the bed very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food and drinks were good. If I had to be critical I would say the buffet breakfast was poor with no pastries or fresh fruit salad, bread for toasting etc. There were cooked breakfast choices from the menu but if you are a continental breakfast type person it wasn't great value. “FANTASTIC HOTEL. The location, the service, the bar and restaurant were all truly 5 star. Woke up this morning after truly good sleep in massive room overlooking the priory and ruins. The reception staff was simply wonderful, just little things like letting us have a coffee and a croissant when we came in to drop suitcases off before check in time. Little drink tokens on the house, to be enjoyed in a truly gorgeous bar & restaurant. We loved everything and will be back 😊”

“Loved: facilities, staff, food fantastic. Spa wonderful but some minor repairs required. Nothing to detract from our stay. Enjoyed tasting menu with wine flight and also James Martin’s restaurant. All in all a great stay, would definitely like to return”
