My husband and I truly enjoyed our two night stay in the Leonardo Royal in Southampton. The rooms were positioned well, clean and the bed was amazing! We sleep soundly. The grounds are beautiful, hotel is clean and inviting, it is within walking distance of a huge mall. The area feels safe and we were not far from the cruise port. We will definitely stay again if we cruise from Southampton in the future.

The check in was smooth- the breakfast was decent. But the room was dated - carpets were stained throughout, walls were dirty, shower had no pressure, no fridge, stains on curtains - overall a motel/lodge type feel - overpriced for what you got.

Great welcome at reception. Only downside is that the bar area does not open until 12 noon so if you arrive early you cannot get a refreshment. Super tasty meal in the evening and first class service in the bar. Thank you for a great short stay.
