Photo "Chelsfield Lakes golf course. Two years ago the land here was about 5 metres lower than shown here. Over that period a procession of lorries arrived at the site laden with soil, which has now been profiled and seeded. It is due to become a 9 hole golf course, opening in Summer 2009, to complement the 18 hole course further west on the site. Until the 1990s, this was an orchard, part of Hewitts Farm, once a major farming enterprise, but now primarily a "pick your own" site (1021074) on the other side of the A224 (which runs behind the trees on the right of the photo).
