Very nice hotel close to everything for a quick trip in London. Our room was ready at 13h so it was nice to take a shower after the long red eye flight. Only inconvinience was the construction next doit which we didn't know before getting there and the fact they dont have an Ice machine. Super confy beds and nicely renovated bathrooms.

The hotel location was good and the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was small with old carpet and a horrible shower. TV in a location difficult to watch. We didn’t spend any time in the room but to sleep.

Although the hotel was undergoing some renovations - the staff more than made up for it. Everyone was so helpful and greeted you every day - I will definitely stay here again, and looking forward to seeing it once all the renovations are completed.

Pros: wonderful location, AC worked great, room was a good size, staff was very friendly, and the construction noise did not interfere while sleeping. Cons: the room and bathroom were very outdated and smelled of stale cigarettes, the beds were extremely firm, and they did not provide washcloths. Small shampoo and conditioner were provided but no hand soap for the sink.

Despite ongoing renovations, the staff were terrific and tried hard to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Manager Graziana was simply wonderful and so nice. One of her staff set up the new TV for me in my room without a qualm and got me ice, etc, as the restaurant and reception were temporarily closed. I’ve stayed there on multiple occasions but this time I have to say they all went above and beyond for me. I’ll be back!

Currently the place is being extended and under lots of scaffolding. Expect to see workmen and deliveries. I thought check-in was slow but the lifts beat that by running in a very leisurely manner. You could use the stairs if they were easy to navigate. In case of a fire, I suggest smashing a window and jumping! The room itself was clean and relatively spacious for a London hotel. But the TV didn't receive any channels and the staff couldn't fix it. I heard complaints about the air conditioning although the one in our room worked. On the plus side, the location is great and not too far from a tube station.

I had stayed at this hotel a few years ago and added the breakfast option to this trip. When I got to the hotel, I was told that due to the renovation of the hotel (which was stated when I booked) they were not currently offering breakfast. I was told to let Expedia know about this-which I did. Since payment was not completed until I registered, I was given a credit on my card. Also, currently there is no bar in the hotel. Mornings including Sunday were noisy with construction, but as I stated, I was aware of this when I booked. Hotel is clean and close to 3 Tube stations. Many restaurants are close (Queensway) for breakfast. I will definitely stay there again if I am in London.

The hotel is currently under construction so all amenities are inaccessible such as the bar, breakfast, and coffee station. The construction wasn’t too bothersome noise wise. Aside from the construction, the room itself was lovely and we had a comfortable stay. The location is also great. Just a few streets west is a great neighborhood with lots of shops, cafes, and grocery stores. We particularly loved how close we were to Hyde Park. Would stay again!
