“Really good stay at York, great location so close to city center”

“Good property just that the last night our room was not clean.”

“I enjoyed a very pleasant two night stay here. My self-contained bedroom and ensuite was spacious, clean and well appointed. Being able to park right outside the room turned out to be a welcome convenience since the weather was, um, less than kind! All the staff were helpful and courteous. “Por encima de todo, la amabilidad de Danielle y Tarquin. El desayuno, de lo mejor. Muy bien situado, no más de 15 min. caminando al centro de York. Fácil aparcamiento. Muy recomendable.”

“Room was clean and tidy, good amenities especially with the small fridge in the room. Staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast had a good choice and served very quickly. Ample parking at the rear of the building. Good choice of evening meal, only sorry we weren't there on Sunday for the carvery. Great location in a beautiful small village. Would recommend and stay again.”

“A lovely, well run hotel with friendly helpful staff. Breakfast was superb and the room clean , comfortable with everything you need. Thank you the Sandburn Staff!”

“Very nice room. Pretty good breakfast. Very helpful staff. The room window (and nets) could have been a bit cleaner - to take real advantage of the seaview! ... But very good overall.”
