The room was ready before it’s time the receptionist was super helpful and very informative I would highly recommend to stay in the hotel because the location is right in the center of York! Like the say Yorkshire is gods own country! I would definitely stay there again!

Location was perfect, right in middle of city centre, hotel lovely & clean, great staff, breakfast was sufficient, attentive staff kept things flowing at busy periods, nice choice for cold & hot products. Plenty coffee machines, so no queuing for hot drinks. The only negative for us was the air conditioning in our room had a fault & stopped working for our 2&3rd night, however the staff were great offering another room ( if available) or fans, we just opted for a fan, even although temperatures were 32degrees. These things happen, not a black mark against any of the hotel team. Would defo recommend, and we would happily stay here again.

Really enjoyed our stay - the hotel is in an excellent location! 7 minute walk from train station and everything is on the doorstep. Bars, shops, restaurants within a 10 minute walk. Room was a great size and aircon worked really well. Bed was super comfy and hotel staff let us check in early which was appreciated. We will definitely return. Only feedback is that the bathroom and room is a bit outdated.
