The Moxy hotel in York is such a lovely hotel and located very central. The staff were very welcoming and friendly on arrival and the duration of our stay. The breakfast was very nice and fresh with plenty of choice.

The room was clean. Just need the coffee and milk filled more often. The breakfast was outstanding, anything you want was available. Only issue is the parking, it was really expensive to park in the recommended carpark, even with the 20% discount.

Comfortable bed and quiet room. Stayed one night only. Easy to get to by bus from the train station with luggage. Free welcome drink was not very nice (chose non-alcoholic version) - maybe should give guests a choice of something simple like juice. Unfortunately one of the coffee cups in our room was unwashed with coffee stains at the bottom. Easy to walk into city centre to find restaurants etc.

Nice hotel, fairly central, good breakfast buffet, clean and attentive staff. The only challenge is parking but that is the whole city and not the fault of the hotel. There is a nearby parking structure but pricey. If you look around on Google maps you will find other a little further and outside the "center" that are less expensive.

We were able to get into our room early which was a bonus. Room itself was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was nice and shower was great. We opted for the included breakfast option which was really good. Hot and cold items and lots of selection. The location of the hotel was perfect for us. We were able to walk to almost every place we wanted. It is also on the City Sightseeing red bus route (between stops 5 and 6) which we took advantage of. Also it was only a 15(ish) minute walk to the train station. Would recommend and definitely stay again.
