“Our room was setup nicely. The staff was very helpful especially the bar staff Tom O went above and beyond. The spa was amazing and Sam was very professional and great with her skillful massage techniques. Loved the location, the river view and the hotel.”

“FANTASTIC HOTEL. The location, the service, the bar and restaurant were all truly 5 star. Woke up this morning after truly good sleep in massive room overlooking the priory and ruins. The reception staff was simply wonderful, just little things like letting us have a coffee and a croissant when we came in to drop suitcases off before check in time. Little drink tokens on the house, to be enjoyed in a truly gorgeous bar & restaurant. We loved everything and will be back 😊”

“Met at the hotel to celebrate a friend’s ’significant’ birthday. From the moment we arrived at reception to the minute we checked out, the staff could not have been more friendly, professional and helpful. The restaurant was very busy but our party was looked after with cheerful efficiency and the quality of both food and wine was of a high standard. Our room was comfortable, stylish and well-equipped and the whole experience offered excellent value for money.”

“Great service given an upgrade which was amazing. Will definitely stay again.”

“The breakfast ŕoom was high quality with wooden carved dining chairs and chandeliers. Our guest room was well decorated with good paintings and carved woodwork. and The recliner chair with a footstool was both notable and comfortable. The large sofa was also comfortable. Our balcony with a view of fields beyond would have been a place to relax in on a warm day. The full English Breakfast was both good quality and ample food.”

This falls well below basic hygiene standards and is completely unacceptable for anyone staying there, especially young children. It is clear the room was not properly checked or cleaned before we arrived. I reported the issue immediately to staff at the hotel, and followed up through the official channels to raise a formal...

“Unos días de descanso en un lugar agradable y encantador. Amables y muy atentos. Buen desayuno. La habitacion, aunque pequeña, para mi solo y teniendo en cuenta que suelo estar fuera de visita por la ciudad, esta bien. Bien ubicado muy cerca del centro.”

“Very friendly, welcoming and clean from what we saw. We left 30mins before breakfast so unfortunately missed out on that. Only issue I have is one of the shower gels tubes used were empty. Otherwise comfortable bed and peaceful night. Would stay again snd recommend”
