Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Lovely staff, well dressed room and food was spot on
Great comfortable stay with lovely dining facilities.
The room was exceptional. I love the fridge with fresh milk and water which you don’t always get these days.
Our dog Toby enjoyed his staff too and dogs are well catered for.
The room had good amenities and it was surprisingly quiet as our room faced the road. Breakfast times were really good and a good selection of choices. The evening meal was very generous, not sure if they changed the menu daily as we ate out the second night.
Rooms are good, but small. Large furniture is a bit of a waste of space - could do with somewhere to put a case incase of a very large antique wardrobe (which is very nice, but not in such a small room). Room size makes it a little expensive, but the breakfast choice is very good (made to order)
The Bear of Burton - very nice country style pub and hotel. With a large car park at the rear.
Staff - very friendly and helpful.
Rooms - very well presented, clean and and tidy. Lots of rooms within hotel.
Evening meal - good selection on menu, quick service and fairly priced.
Bed - very comfortable, great nights sleep.
Breakfast - a decent selection of cold buffet style food (Cerals, Yogurts, Fruit, Pastries, juice, & hot drinks), along with another good selection of cooked food options.
Overall - very nice, more than happy to visit again.
Everything superb again, albeit the breakfast was a little well done for my liking. I also think the bar food prices are a little pricey, but the quality of food was good.
