Had a lovely stay here with my Granddaughter, we enjoyed massages and the spa pool and sauna, all very relaxing. Delicious and very filling breakfast. Lovely large room with views over the river. Would have given 5 stars but the requested twin was not made up and there was an event whose Disco was loud and went on until midnight.

Great hotel, absolutely brilliant location. Wanted to take my parents away and they loved the hotel. Riverside views from large windows to enjoy, a nice walk along the river into town, close to Mudeford Quay and all the lovely beaches. Great staff. Delicious breakfast each morning.

Wonderful mini break! Fantastic location overlooking the river and just a short walk to Christchurch centre. Clean hotel, exceptional food in the restaurant with really welcoming staff. Lovely breakfast as well. We will be coming back!

Hotel was clean tidy and welcoming. The "spa" is a very small pool and sauna. It was warm and quiet when we went so we were happy but its not a Spa. The breakfast was amazing - worth the wait as it seems every breakfast is cooked fresh to order. It certainly tasted like that. Lovely river side room.

Came for a. Family wedding, everything was amazing, a perfect venue, and the whole staff from management to housekeeping were brilliant, did an awesome job & were very friendly & attentive. It was the hottest weekend of the year, but still nothing was too much effort for the staff, first class experience.

First impression, on arrival was pleasant location and staff fairly hospitable. Room a good size, clean and lovely view of river, however some niggles overshadowed this by inadequate instructions on some of the room facilities eg. room safe. It was noisy at times, as outside seating area below window. I am also disappointed there was no small chiller/fridge in room especially in an expensive hotel as this. . Restaurant staff very helpful and restaurant was pleasant. Overall unsure if I would return to this establishment.

Really lovely stay for one night in a recently refurbished roomy double with lovely shower room and view across the river. Comfortable bed and well sound proofed. Didn’t have dinner but had beautifully made cocktails in the bar as a nightcap. Can recommend!! Breakfast was served efficiently by friendly staff, my only small complaint was that my breakfast was served lukewarm on cold plates. Will definitely return soon!!

Our accommodation was first class but I was disappointed to find out on my last day that there was an offer for a free champagne cream tea in March if you booked two nights. Nobody on reception told me that when we registered and when i equerries it as I was leaving I was told ‘it’s all on our website ‘. Apart from that a fantastic stay
