“Very friendly staff”

“Lovely, clean, and comfortable room. The bed and mattress were of excellent quality, and I had a very good night's sleep. We had dinner in the restaurant, which was fantastic. The portions were generous, and the food was of a very high standard. We stayed in the family room and, unfortunately, there was a noticeable iron burn mark in the middle of the carpet. “Don’t bring a cat - there’s no room to swing it in the bedroom. And the TV was comically small. That being said, it was clean and tidy and the food excellent. Staff also very friendly.”

“Check in was easy and efficient. The room was all that could be expected, plus a few extras. A jar of a variety shortbread biscuits was a surprise along with an extremely varied options for hot drinks, i.e. Horlicks. A bowl of fruit was also an unexpected delight. The bathroom was well appointed, with shampoo, soap etc in pump pots. The bed itself was supremely comfortable with more than sufficient coverings. A large fan completed the array of convenience items, really handy with recent weather...
