“We had a fantastic stay! Our “standard double” room was better than expected, comfortable bed, spacious, great bath and good water pressure in shower. The choice and quality of food both at breakfast and dinner was excellent, well priced and very tasty. Perhaps the stand out feature of the Beaumont is the staff, without exception..their friendliness and attention leant to a welcoming and relaxed stay.”

The main issue and disappointment was that the area was a live building site as construction works were still being carried out on the Spa area, Construction traffic ,materials and staff were everywhere and this caused difficulties with parking and Hotel access when driving. “Check in was easy and efficient. The room was all that could be expected, plus a few extras. A jar of a variety shortbread biscuits was a surprise along with an extremely varied options for hot drinks, i.e. Horlicks. A bowl of fruit was also an unexpected delight. The bathroom was well appointed, with shampoo, soap etc in pump pots. The bed itself was supremely comfortable with more than sufficient coverings. “The hotel was clean and modern. The breakfast in the adjacent restaurant was good although it wasn't available on the Monday. The toilet seat in my room wouldn't stay up. The TV remote didn't work. With the help of a friend we worked out how to switch the power on to the TV (behind the screen) and we were able to control it using the buttons underneath the bottom right of the TV.
